I can't believe it. Tonight is my last night living in a dorm.
I'm sitting here in my empty room trying to figure out where the time went!
It's incredible to think of some of the things I have been through in the past two years while living here...
I lived away from home for the first time.
I met one of my favorite people, my freshman roommate Karoline.
I crumbled in my bathroom when I got the phone call that my grandpa had died. I also had friends come over as fast as they could to come and sit on my bed with me as I cried.
I watched news stories about the enormous earthquakes in Haiti, Chile, China, Indonesia, and Japan as well as the death of Osama bin Laden.
I laughed (a lot), cried, and grew with my Women's Bible Study.
I experienced the pure exhaustion of preseason and life as a college gymnast and also said goodbye to the sport I thought I couldn't live without.
I studied more than I studied in all my years leading up to college.
I grew up.
There's so many more but if I listed them all this post would be as long as a Harry Potter book. I can't imagine not living in De Neve the past two years. As much as I am ready to move on and move into my apartment with three other great girls, it's sad to think that this part of my life is over. I was so blessed by the people, conversations, and memories that took place in Birch 623 and Evergreen 310.
I can't wait to see what God has in store for me at Westwood Palms...
ahhh so much behind you already - and SO much more ahead!! You did it! xo
